1971!?? Really??? Even more mind blowing, read the last sentence of the 'epilogue'. Had no idea how conservative they were. Eye opening. Always like a good period film. Oof, the hair, clothes, cars, decor. Brings it all back! And nice to see a European take on this particular time.

What? It took Switzerland until 1971 to legalize women's right to vote? I've always thought that the country was so progressive but how this town treated its women was positively archaic. I was rooting for these budding suffragettes the entire way! Wonderful film worthy of viewing.
