He wanted to play God. Probably got addicted to the rush, this time from murder rather than opiods. I can't believe I had never heard about Harold Shipman. As evil as he was, I am amazed by his intelligence - as well as his patient's blind loyalty to him. The big question I am left with, how was he not caught sooner?!
