Good, beautiful movie. Combines Scott's passions for sumptuous visuals and visceral violence. Great, simmering Keitel. Carradine's the weak link here, but doesn't wreck it.

Extremely well done period drama with all the trimmings---great casting, locations, cinematography, costumes, music, etc. Directed by Ridley Scott before he became mega-famous. Well worth seeing.
