Solid performances in a film about a farming community with peculiar set of customs that takes in a stranger with his own nonconformist lifestyle. Four stars.

Not a very good film at all. Exaggerated, boring and pretty pointless.

Seems to meander at first, but by the end all the pieces lock into place. Plays like a twisted "Witness" or more benign "The Wicker Man". Solid.
