Pensive, lovely film. Too bad France carries this load of being a country that colonized and yet thinks of itself as being white. Rather like the USA.

This story could have ended within an hour.... This story has been told many times over. After the first 45 min I went about my business while the movie played...

Must learn to check "language" before selecting since Kanopy has a large variation. I dont have to energy to read subtitles when I just want to watch, unfortunately. Nothing against the movie itself.
