Read the book that Papillon wrote, there was a substantial amount left out from this movie.

Some interesting details about the prison life Papillon but this version is not nearly as well portrayed as the 1973 version.

Wow, that was heavy. Still remember Steve McQueen as Poppy-but this was pretty grim-all for a crime he was framed for! Must've been no sharks around when he was floating on that raft! There was honour among thieves.Loyalty.
