Sophia Loren gives one of the most raw and real performances I have ever seen. This film is excellent in so many ways and a drama from beginning to end.

The incredibile Sophia! Mi è piaciuto molto questa film. È veramente triste. The incomparable Sophia Loren. I like the symbolism of the "girasole", the flower that turns towards the sun.
