Wonderful film. This quiet old Estonian man is wise and does not care which side of the war people are in.They are all human beings. A lesson in diplomacy not to forget.

A terrific film, a great story--and it needs to be shown in classrooms all over the Caucasus, with its 50+ ethnic groups and millennia-old ongoing strife. Painful, sad . . . yet hopeful.
