One of the most powerful movies I've ever seen. Got me in touch with my culture in a way that isn't seen in the popular media. Can't stop thinking about it.

This is a wonderful film.

I've spent a lot of time in tropical terrain, and I was in Luzon under the Marcos dictatorship, so this was really evocative for me.

i get it, i mean i get that it's not a film for me in execution, though it would be in theme, but PS: not every hill is worth a 5 minutes shot. not every bite of rice is so enticing. editing is a great tool.
