This is an excellent documentary that is inspiring and educational. For anyone who hasn't seen it, it pairs nicely with a film called She Makes Comics, a doc about women working in the comics industry. Many thanks to Kanopy for making this film available to us!

I love this doc as it shows the importance of female heroes in pop culture like Wonder Woman, the Bionic Woman, and Buffy, and how they have inspired our real-life heroes like Gloria Steinem and the woman who was inspired by the Bionic Woman to work at NASA instead of being a hairdresser :)
